Smart chips
Type @ to drop a person or a date into the line
People, dates and files become chips you can open, so a name is picked from a list instead of retyped.

Suggesting
Suggest a change and let the owner decide
In Suggesting mode your edits are marked, not applied. The owner accepts or rejects each one, or all of them.

Comment on a phrase, then resolve it
Select the words you mean, write the comment, and reply in a thread until the question is settled.

Outline
Headings build the outline as you type
Every heading appears beside the page with its page number. Click one to jump to it.

Embed a Sheet chart that stays current
Insert a chart, a range or a Graph board from your other Office files. A linked embed shows the latest data.

Page tree
Grow a space one nested page at a time
Hover a page, press +, and a child appears under it. The breadcrumbs and title follow.

Work issue
Turn a line of text into a Work issue
Select the text, create the issue, and the line becomes a chip with the issue key and its live status.
- The selection becomes the title
- The page is linked from the issue
- The chip shows the current status
Issue list
Show a Work view inside a page
Insert an issue list and the page shows the issues each reader may see, updating as the work moves.
